Frequently asked questions about Cebu tours
Everything you need to know before booking your Cebu experience.
What is included in a private Cebu tour?
All Go to Philippines tours include private transportation, a local guide or coordinator, and clear pickup details sent before your tour. Entrance fees and meals are specified per tour. Everything is arranged so you can simply show up and enjoy.
How many days do I need in Cebu?
3 to 4 days is the sweet spot for a first visit to Cebu. This gives you enough time for a city tour, the sardine run and turtles in Moalboal, and either the whale shark experience in Oslob or island hopping - without feeling rushed. If you have more time, Bantayan Island makes an excellent addition.
Is the sardine run guaranteed?
Yes - unlike seasonal marine wildlife, the Moalboal sardine run is a permanent phenomenon. Millions of sardines gather year-round just a few meters from shore at Panagsama Beach. No boat required, and visibility is generally excellent in the morning.
Can I book a tour for a group?
Absolutely. All our tours are private by default - meaning your group has the vehicle, guide and experience entirely to yourselves. Whether you are travelling as a couple, a family or a larger group, the tour adapts to your pace and preferences.
Where will I be picked up?
Pickup is included from your hotel or accommodation in Cebu City and most areas of Cebu. You will receive full pickup details - time, vehicle and contact information - before your tour date. No need to arrange your own transportation.
Can I combine Cebu with Bohol?
Yes, and it is one of the most popular combinations for first-time visitors. Cebu and Bohol are connected by a short ferry ride (around 2 hours), making them easy to combine in a single trip. We can help you plan both destinations seamlessly - get in touch and we will put together the right itinerary for your dates.
What is the best time to visit Cebu?
November to May is the dry season and generally the best time for outdoor activities, island hopping and marine experiences. That said, Cebu can be visited year-round - the sardine run and most tours operate regardless of season. June to October brings more rain but also fewer crowds and lower prices.
What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
We understand that travel plans change. Our cancellation and modification terms are outlined clearly on each tour page. If you need help adjusting your booking, contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.
